Discovery Camps

18 Months - 3 Years

Fountainhead is proud to offer Discovery Camps four weeks out of each year for children ages 18 months -6 years old. These specialized, age appropriate camps are available for one week at the end of Summer session, Winter Break, Spring Break, and the end of the year before Summer School starts.

These camps feature full day and half day options and will include on-site field trips, low teacher/student ratios, and before and after care options from 7 AM - 6:00 PM.

Parents love the added structure and enrichment options during these special weeks. Any before and after care used on these days applies to your max or hourly before and after care rate depending on how much before and after care you use in the month.

Please keep in mind that just like child care only days you must sign up in advance so we can plan for your camper to join us.

Course Descriptions

What is Discovery Camp?

Our camps promote an active and healthy lifestyle with lots of games, healthy snacks and plenty of physical activity and movement throughout the day. During Discovery camp we will:

  • Have a daily Assembly that gets campers excited about what is going to happen that day and builds a sense of community
  • Engage in themed camp activities based on the camp topic and designed to promote skill building and learning while having a blast
  • Enjoy camp games that give everyone a chance to run around, get sweaty and have fun.
  • Have time for friendship and chill out with your camp buddies
  • A wrap up — a time to say “Good bye, until tomorrow!,” review the day and plan for the day and week to come.

You do not have to sign-up for the whole week, you can sign up by the day (half or full).

Is lunch provided?

You may pack your child a lunch, or our Dublin and Elementary students can order hot lunch from our School Foodies. “Food For Thought”.

Can I drop my child off for Before and After Care only?

In order to join Fountainhead Discovery Camp, you must be a current FMS student. Before and After Care is only available to campers who are already enrolled for Discovery Camp for that day.

How will Before and After Care hours be billed?

Before and After Care will be billed at an hourly rate and will be included in your child’s maximum monthly rate.

Does Fountainhead provide snacks?

Throughout the day, campers are provided with several healthy snacks and water. You may pack a snack with your child if you’d like.

What is the cancellation policy?

Discovery Camps cannot be transferred, changed or cancelled. You will be billed for the days you reserved, even if they are not used.

Is a full week sign up required?

You do not have to sign-up for the whole week, you can sign up by the day (half or full).

What if I forget to sign up? Can I drop in?

Yes, you can drop in if space is available. The drop in rate is at a premium. Half day campers would be $50 and $100 for full-day camp.

Can I come for part of the camp day?

Keep in mind that attendance during any part of camp will be considered enrollment in that camp. We do not pro-rate camp enrollment.

What happens if my child stays past noon?

You will have until 12:10 PM to pick up your child. After that time, you will be charged the full-day camp rate. If your child is on campus after 12:10 PM, they are considered a full-day camper.

Who will be leading the Discovery Camps?

Discovery camp will be led by our fabulous Fountainhead teachers. They are loving, creative, respectful, supportive educators who know the potential and needs of the age groups they work with. Our Camper faculty have received additional camp training.
