You are always welcome to meet with your child's teacher at any time to discuss his or her development. However, teachers are usually busy assisting the children at drop-off and pickup times. For productive time with your child's teacher, we strongly recommend that you call them after 12:15 p.m. or before 8:50 a.m., or that you set up a time to meet with them at your convenience.

Fountainhead also offers twice-yearly parent-teacher conferences. These conferences are scheduled times for parents and teachers to meet together in order to discuss the child’s development and progress. These are wonderful, uninterrupted opportunities for parents and teachers. At your parent-teacher conference, you will get detailed information on your child's development.

There are also several opportunities for parents to visit their children's classrooms throughout the year. Parent's Night or 'Back-to-School Night' is usually held in September or October. This is a night for parents to come meet the staff and learn more about our philosophy and program. The teachers will give an overview of the year and a tour of each area of the environment.

Mom's & Dad's Nights usually happen toward the end of the year in the spring. It is a wonderful time for parents to spend a mini-day at school. Children will have an opportunity to invite parents to watch as they choose and do works from the classroom environment. The teachers will be there to observe and assist as needed.

We also offer our monthly newsletter, The Sponge. Please refer to our Parent Newsletter page.
